Minimarg Valley lies beyond Burzil Pass in the north-eastern part of Astore District. It is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and filled with lush meadows, pine forests, clear streams, and wooden houses. The valley is the entry point to Domail Valley and the Rainbow Lake, as well as Crystal Lake, making it one of the most scenic places to visit in northern Pakistan. Wildflowers cover the grass in summer, and the air is cool and fresh. The road to Minimarg crosses Burzil Pass, an old historic route, and visitors have to register at checkpoints on the way. It is remote and quiet, with a strong sense of wilderness.
