All content on this site — road statuses, closures, clearances, weather notes, destination guides, trek details and articles — is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, without any warranty of completeness, accuracy or timeliness. Road conditions in Gilgit-Baltistan can change within minutes. A route marked open may close before you reach it, and a reported closure may be cleared without an immediate update here.

You must independently verify current conditions with official sources — the National Highway Authority, district administration, local police, FWO or your transporter — before starting any journey. This site is a planning aid, not an authoritative clearance to travel. See our disclaimer for details.

• Submissions must be accurate to the best of your knowledge, and describe conditions you have actually observed or reliably learned about.
• Do not submit false, speculative, exaggerated or out-of-date reports; do not submit content that is abusive, defamatory, unlawful, or that spreads rumours about security incidents.
• Only upload photos you own or have the right to share, and avoid images that identify individuals without their consent.
• By submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, edit, resize and archive it on this site with attribution where applicable.

Verified status is granted for reporting road conditions only and confers no other rights on the platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GB Road Updates and its operators, contributors and moderators accept no liability for any loss, injury, delay, cost or damage arising from travel decisions made in reliance on content published here, from errors or omissions in that content, or from the unavailability of the site. Your travel decisions and their consequences remain entirely your own responsibility.
