About
Rama Meadows lies in the Rama Valley of Astore District, roughly 25 km from Astore city. The meadows are surrounded by dense forests of pine, cedar, and juniper, with open grassy areas, streams, and the snow-capped Nanga Parbat range in the distance. The meadows have simple camping facilities and a few guest accommodations, and they are the usual overnight stop for visitors heading to Rama Lake. In summer the grass is full of wildflowers, and the air is cool and fresh. Rama Meadows is also a pleasant destination on its own for families and groups who want a quiet forest picnic or a night under the stars.
