About
Miacher is a high village above Minapin, reached by a steep jeep track. The valley has terraced farmland, old houses, and a peaceful rural atmosphere, with Rakaposhi and Diran dominating the skyline. Higher up, Miacher Kho is a meadow and viewpoint with broad views over the mountains of Hunza and Nagar, and glaciers across the valley. A jeep trip from Minapin takes around two hours to reach the viewpoint. Miacher Valley also includes the Kacheli Meadows and Kacheli Lake, giving trekkers a quiet alternative to the busier Rakaposhi routes.
